China and You – Regulatory Marketing in the era of the Asia Pacific

As we celebrate 10 years serving medical device and diagnostics innovators, it's worth reflecting on how the world has changed.  A decade on, the regulatory landscape for medical devices and IVDs is nothing like it used to be when Brandwood Biomedical was established in 2000. While old-world economies falter, there are exciting developments across Asia Pacific. For example, in China the US$123 billion domestic healthcare reform project announced last year is underway, including the construction of 30,000 new hospitals and clinics. But the increasing regulatory hurdles in country-after-country across Asia and here in Australia mean that more than ever before, informed planning is the key to success for sales continuity, new product launches and optimal patient safety.
